Bear Creek Enterprises - Website

I created this website for a friend/client of mine during my Web Design class at Iowa State University.  The website's main purpose is to attract business and provide contact information to current clients.  This website utilizes a very basic design and uses a basic table layout.  I primarily used Microsoft FrontPage 2003 for the web design and Adobe Photoshop CS for manipulating images.

Service Level Agreement Brochure - IT Services

I designed and created this brochure while taking a Technical Communication class at Iowa State University.  During that time, I was also working at Information Technology Services (IT Services) for the University.  The purpose of this brochure is to attract new Service Level Agreement clients for the IT Services department.  The brochure lists several services that we provided as well as pricing examples and important contact information.  I used Adobe InDesign CS for the brochure design and Adobe Photoshop CS for image modification.

I have been working with different servers for the past two years.  Server management is part of my professional responsibility, but it is also something I enjoy doing in my spare time.  At home, I work with a Microsoft Server 2003 server which hosts a variety of applications and services.  Among these applications are; Microsoft Exchange Server, Internet Information Services, Group Policy Management, Distributed File System, and Active Directory.  I enjoy testing new programs and utilities at home before deploying them in a larger professional environment.

Professional communication has become a very important part of everyday business today.  I have selected a few examples of my business and professional communications to showcase my writing skills.  These documents include a sample cover letter, project proposal, and rhetorical website analysis.
